These cylinder heads are a heavier casting than the OEM cylinder heads and reduce cracking. This head fits 2.5L L6 DOHC 24V M50 93-99 and M52 96-99 Engines. Make sure you confirm your original Casting # 1738400. It's used in the 3 and 5 series models. Note 6mm guides, 3 sensor holes, no EGR. Includes valve cover, intake and exhaust manifold studs. Can also interchange with casting #840 (early) 90-92 but will need to mod removing crimped head bolt washers and use a 7mm stem vs 6mm. Also the #400 interchanges with #070 casting number. NOT interchangeable with #793 (this is a late improved-cooling design) |
